Physics 290, "Quantum Physics", Fall 2004

Special relativity, wave-particle duality, the nuclear atom, teh development of Schrodinger's wave mechanics and the quantum theory of atoms. Prerequisite, physics 195 or physics 105, and Mathematics 114 (Calc. II).

Three hours of class and three hours of laboratory.
