Problems:

(1) (a review problem) A small catapult consists of an incline plane slanted upwards 53.0 degrees from the horizontal and a k=200.0 N/m spring. It launches a pumkin of mass m=0.500 kg. Before launching the pumpkin is pushed down on the spring by 20.0 cm. (a) If the incline is frictionless find the initial acceleration at the instant the pumkin is released. (b) Find the velocity at the instant that the pumpkin leaves the incline plane. (c) How would the answer to part (b) change if the coefficient of kinetic friction was 0.600? (d) How far does the pumkin go, if the total distance along the incline is 50.0 cm?
